It is unfortunate that a number of Horse Chestnut trees in Bulls (Avenue) Field, Bottesford, have been diagnosed as having ‘bleeding canker’ resulting in three of them having to be felled. The removed trees will be replaced with ‘London Planes’ in the Autumn, while the remaining trees will be monitored with a view to presrving them as long as possible.
